Established in 1923, Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities was originally known as Musée Khai Dinh. 5. Hue Fine Arts Museum

The porcelains were custom-ordered by Vietnamese royals and elites from Chinese kilns. 7. Museum of Central Coast’s Nature

9. Huong River Museum of Ancient Pottery

In the collection of Hue museums, this one is notable for its focus on river-found artifacts. Located inside the Lan Vien Co Tich garden house, the museum was founded by Professor Thai Kim Lan and her late brother, painter Thai Nguyen Ba. Over 40 years, they collected nearly 5,000 artifacts, many of which were recovered directly from the Huong River. These include jars, bowls, vases, and lime pots from the Cham, Sa Huynh, and Le dynasties. Materials range from terracotta and stoneware to glazed ceramics. 10. Diem Phung Thi Art Center

As part of the Hue Fine Arts Museum, this site complements other Hue museums by focusing entirely on her legacy. The layout is quiet and well-organized, ideal for those who want to reflect and explore. 11. Lebadang Memory Space

Located in a peaceful area outside the city center, Lebadang Memory Space honors the life and vision of Vietnamese artist Lebadang. Covering 16,000 square meters, the site blends modern architecture with traditional feng shui principles. Inside, you can see more than 300 works that reflect the artist’s creative journey across various mediums. 

A highlight is the underground gallery that traces his life story, while the white cube-style building presents his artworks. In the landscape of Hue museums, this space offers a rare blend of art, nature, and quiet.

12. Luc Bo Culture Space

Luc Bo Culture Space brings a different perspective to local heritage. It explores the administrative system of the Nguyen Dynasty through displays on six former ministries. 13. Songlab - Digital Art Centre
