Bat Trang Pottery Museum is a perfect place for those eager to learn about Vietnamese ceramics. Here, visitors can explore the intricate process of ceramic production and engage in hands-on experiences.
2. The development of Bat Trang Pottery Museum
Bat Trang Pottery Village was established through the collaborative efforts of 23 families who migrated from their old hometowns to form a new community dedicated to pottery. Today, 19 of these families continue to uphold their ancestral craft, contributing to the village’s growth.
To honor the legacy of these craftsmen as well as to preserve the traditional values of Bat Trang Pottery Village, Ms. Ha Thi Vinh, the 15th-generation descendant of the Ha Huu family, dedicated her effort to the creation of the Center of Vietnamese Craft Village Quintessence.
Now, Bat Trang Pottery Museum stands as a testament to her commitment, serving as a beacon of traditional Vietnamese ceramic art and cultural preservation.
