Competing with remarkable consistency over three days, Kim Min Jun claimed a wire to wire victory with a total score of 14 under par, following rounds of 69, 65, and 68, sealing the VGA Junior Tour 2025 – The International Final Leg Race to TaylorMade with a historic milestone.
Entering the final round with a commanding 10 shot lead, the 13 year old golfer appeared firmly in control of the championship. Nevertheless, Kim Min Jun continued to assert his dominance. He opened the final day with three consecutive birdies, mirroring his strong start in Round 2, quickly improving his total score to 13 under par. Over the remainder of the round, he added one eagle and three birdies, offset by four bogeys, to close the championship round with a solid 68.

With a total score of 14 under par, Kim Min Jun set a new scoring record in the history of the VGA Junior Tour. The previous record of 12 under par was held by Le Chuc An, who won Stage 3 of the 2024 season, also at Vinpearl Golf Hai Phong.
Kim Min Jun’s victory also brought the curtain down on a highly competitive season, with VGA Junior Tour 2025 producing eight different champions across eight stages, underscoring the depth, competitiveness, and strong momentum of junior golf development in Vietnam.
In the remaining divisions, the final round delivered several notable breakthroughs. Vu Lan surged to claim the Boys U15 title with an impressive final round of 70. Tran The Bao was crowned champion in the Boys U18 division, while Nguyen Khanh Linh secured victory in the Girls U18 category. Nguyen Phuong Duong Anh took the title in the Girls U13 division, and Zhang Aoran emerged as champion of the Boys U13 division.
